Product Performance
The high chromium content of 430 gives it good corrosion resistance, while the low carbon content keeps it soft and malleable. This makes it ideal for welding and forming operations. However, 430 stainless steel rod is not suitable for use in environments that require high temperatures because it will become brittle.
